More Than Just Sewing: A Journey of Learning, Growth & Creative Connection

We’re thrilled to share that our very first 5-Week Beginners Sewing Course has officially come to a close, and what a journey it’s been!

Over five inspiring weeks, a group of enthusiastic women stepped into the sewing studio, most with little to no experience, and left with not just new skills, but finished garments, fresh confidence, and a shared sense of accomplishment.

Each week was filled with hands-on learning, from getting to know the sewing machine and mastering key techniques, to cutting fabric, reading patterns, and assembling their very first wearable pieces. The atmosphere was warm, supportive, and full of creativity.

One of our students, Funmi, shared:

“Great experience. I went into the course with zero experience and was able to sew a top at the end of the 5th week. Precious is a good tutor, it was a small class and I was able to learn a lot. Looking forward to the next class.”

Ideal for confident sewists or graduates of the beginner course. Each week, you’ll create a different garment or accessory, with a celebratory fashion show at the end where students showcase their handmade creations to family and friends, with a glass of prosecco in hand!
